I'm obsessed with typography and this is a fitting one. Check out more HEREI'm not sure if Riky Rick and Da L.E.S knew what they were starting when they put out their Barbershop ditty but rappers seem to connect with it. First it was Dirty Paraffin's Okmalumkoolkat who took his own spin on the jam, renaming it Siyagunda. But, the ladies wanted in too. Muptee and Nonku (referred to as Nonks in this song) - as well as some funny banter by Em Kay - churned out their own rendition of the song, aptly titled Beaty Shop. While nails, hair and other girlie things aren't rapped about at length, the ladies provide a skinner session about a fine guy who caught Muptee's eye but who couldn't even pay an auto-mo-bill. Then about a guy who should probably pick up a Dr N.A Ndos flyer and sort out his, er, small problems. Beauty Shop is light hearted and fun, what do you think of it?
