The Air-ess

If you've ever seen The Ordinary Girl then you know that when it comes to kicks, gender specifics mean absolutely nothing to her. I like those Jordan Retro 8s up top but I also mess with a variety of sneakers that don't have the WMNS tag on them. If they are phly then I will buy.

But, admittedly, it feels darn good to know that there is finally a sista on the Jordan Brand team of sports stars. Sure, Va$htie got to design some pretty 2s but if we're being honest, I'm not trying to get a credit card to order them online just so I can rock a colourway I don't even like. That's not shade, it's an opinion.

Anyway, Minnesota Lynx player, Maya Moore (above), is the first female basketball player to be endorsed by Jordan Brand and she joins the ranks of Dwayne Wade with this new appointment. All together now: wooohoooooo! There's no word yet about what kinds of Air goodies she'll be the face of but I know they damn sure won't be looking like this:

Va$htie’s Jordan II Video Promo “Ladies First”

We showed you the sneakers and now here is a video promo for Va$thie Kola's Air Jordan II collab. Va$thie had this to say about the video promo which she directed herself.
“For this PROMO, I wanted to pay homage to the tough young ladies out there who actually wear JORDANS…”

Jordan Brand had this to say about the collab

“We want to pay homage to the ladies who are rocking Jordan kicks on the daily, and we’ve teamed up with New York-based creative visionary Vashtie Kola to do just that. As a constant trendsetter and one of the best at mixing contrasting styles, we knew Vashtie would have a fresh take on the classic Air Jordan 2.

This limited-edition shoe brings a lavender and deep-purple colorway to deliver a more feminine style. The details didn’t go overlooked either, with hints of silver integrated into the laces to complement the metallic midsole. These shoes will be available exclusively in kids sizes on October 2nd, and stay tuned over the next few weeks for an inside look at the Holiday 2010 Girls Collection”

We Love Jordan Like the Next Man But..

The Jordan 2010 Fall V.2 Grown is not looking too dope in my opinion but I'm a fair person so Imma let you decide for yourself if you like any of these.
