The Notorious K. I. M

That title is possibly The Ordinary Girl's favourite Lil Kim album. But in my humble opinion, Kim is one of the best to ever touch the mic period. We're going to let Black Friday slide because everyone reacts differently to being attacked at some point of their career. There has never been a Kimberley Jones album that sucked. Never. (We've addressed the Black Friday situation.) And she treated fans in Harare, Zimbabwe and Johannesburg, South Africa to some of her biggest joints. She of course, peppered the set with some Biggie hits - which made far more sense than Fat Joe in Jazz pants trying to do the same.

By now you've heard that Zarfest didn't work out quite how the organisers had planned it. The Ordinary Girl was pretty darn vocal about how Kim's press conference played out and so many other things proved to be obstacles ahead of the performances. But all of that was forgotten when Lil Kim stepped on stage wearing this:

Even without the ultra high thigh highs, Kim converted Dude into a believer through her performance. Like most hip hop fans, Dude loves Lil Kim but he didn't expect much when we rolled into the The Dome. He was especially impressed that she seguewayed into Black Friday after being introduced so sweetly. Together with the 10 fans that were there, we watched in awe as she never missed a beat with the dance moves, rapped her heart out even on the a cappella of Lighters Up which was preceded by a Jay-Z Empire State Of Mind instrumental and the illest back up singers who hooked up the vocals. The Ordinary Girl will never forget that a dream of hers came true as her love for Kim rendered her speechless when the petite Kim stepped on stage to the chorus of this song:
