theblagg and the good fellas at Kool Out Live – you know, the Cape Town-based collective who brought us dope hip hop acts like People Under The Stairs and DJ Babu – are giving one lucky person a chance to see one of the dopest rappers of our time Blu and producer-extraordinaire Exile for FREE.
Here’s how:
1. Find your favourite Blu and Exile song. This can be from Below The Heavens or one of the joints they did together on Dirty Science
2. Use your cellphone or camera to record yourself rapping the song
3. Send your clip to theblaggtv@gmail.com with the quickness
Then wait for us to notify you if you won. All the clips that are sent in will be posted on theblagg and theblagg and Kool Out Live will determine who the winner is.
Now we already told you that tickets for the show at Zula Sound Bar in Cape Town on 3 September go for R100 and Town Hall in Newtown on 4 September are available at R120. But you’d much rather win them right? So get sending!

So [and please... i stand corrected, but...] this recording we doing, does it have to be the B&E Version, or can it be a rea-mix? coz this friend of mine really likes the crew, but don't really know de words to they s***. Can he still enter like that? I really need to know coz he really wants to win these tickets?

I've been praying for this day ever since I heard Below The Heavens. I've been a huge Blu and Exile fan since, been scouring the net for anything related to them. Exile's Radio is the best instrumental hip hop album I've heard and I can't wait to see him chop up his MPC! Blu's producing has gotten better and better. I can't wait to hear any new stuff from his Sire/Warner Deal. Damn, its my bday on 3rd Sept and just having these guys here is a present..
