Oh No and iPad? Heck Yeah!
We promise we don't get a kick-back from Stones Throw! We're still slumming it on these blog streets.
But that's an entry for another day.
While moping over being a day late and a rand short of what's happening in South African sneaker culture, theblagg decided to take a detour and merge the present state of the music we love and the future of technology.
What did we end up stumbling across? This:
"That raw, raw stuff. That raw, nasty, gangrene, go jump off a bridge, toilet bowl music." Or at least the person who makes it: Oh No!!
Ta-daaaaaaaaaaaa! Ahem.
While Madlib (you know how we feel about him right here at theblagg) is known the world over as a legendary _________*, his little brother Oh No is well on his way to that status too.
In this video Oh No, who is also a producer/rapper does an ad for what's on every bloggers wishlist: a paying gig. No, seriously though, in this clip Oh No talks about the advantages of using the Korg iElectribe app on the iPad.
*Crickets and tumbleweed pause*
Yes, it's still an ad but Oh No is just so ridiculously likeable that you can't help but watch him recount his humble beginnings and talk that sound talk. Plus we're hoping whoever got the soccer shirts connekie has an iPad shipment coming in real soon so we wanna know how the darn thing works beforehand.
Oh and to paraphrase Oh No: Just watch out when theblagg has their own rocketships, we're going to be dropping bombs.
*Insert your own amazingly cool adjective here.
