Finally Bwooooooooooooooooooooyiiiiiiii!

I know, I know, we could've used another cheesy line like "Don't Belive The Hype" or "Fight The Power" but other sites beat us to it. You know we've never been ones to follow suit though, kicks and Dickies are more our style. Ok, ok, ok, that was a cheesy pun in itself. Here's what we really wanna tell you: Public Enemy is FINALLY going to perform in Cape Town and Joburg this month.

What do you mean you already knew about this? Jokes aside though, 25 years of being pillars of the hip hop culture is no small feat. Even if you can't remember a lick of the lyrics it will still be good to pop through and just take in what P.E has to offer. And I know most of you ladies will go solely to see if Flava Flav really has the ability to woo women the world over, not just the ones who are in dire need for record deals and reality TV show contracts. What? Food stamps won't pay for that yaki!

Ahem. Anyway, what we're told is that Chuck D and Flava Flav are joined by original P.E member Professor Griff and have included South Africa in their Bring The Noize 2010 Tour. Public Enemy will perform at The Alex in Braamfontein on Friday and Saturday. Both shows start at 8pm and tickets are R300 at Computicket and R350 at the door. If you're in Cape Town you can catch them at The Assembly in the CBD on Tuesday. Tickets are R300 at Webtickets and R350 at the door. The last date you can catch PE is on Wednesday at Atmospheer in Landsdown. Here tickets are R150 at Computicket and R200 at the door.
