It seems DJ Drama cannot get enough of South Africa. And we are not mad at him. This is the guy who has brought us his brand of Gangsta Grillz mixtapes that everyone from Lil Wayne to Dead Prez have been a part of. And Drama, also known as Barack O'Drama has made it a habit of connecting with Joburg and Cape Town crowds for years now.

This Friday Mr Thanksgiving will be joined by DJ Green Lantern at The Bank on Keyes Avenue in Rosebank. DJ Green Lantern is no stranger to the game either. All those Invasion mixtapes you've been bootlegging? That's him. He's also done some work with Immortal Technique so he's not all the way jiggy. These two hip hop giants promise to bring the most banging beats. But, of course, you'd have to be there yourself to know the real deal.

The gig starts at 9pm and features Milkshake, Dimplez, TLee, Romz Deluxe and plenty other DJs. Tickets are R150 at the door and your MCs for the evening will be Eric Macheru and Larryngitis.

I know, I know, we're wondering how we can get these hosting gigs too. HA!
