I may be the only girl I know who likes Alicia Keys. Now, I didn't say I like her new song but I am a fan of Mrs Beatz. Speaking of Swizzy, you all know that he's been doing his thing in terms of trying to make Reebok cool again to the kids, right? So, it comes as no surprise, really, that Egypt's mommy is now also throwing around the word "designer" next to her name. And what's she designed? Well, Reebok Classics has brought the Freestyle Hi out for her to work on. She's added a piano keys image (obviously) to the sides and back and her beloved New York City landscape to the top. She's also put her name on a couple of new designs for the Princess, the Dubble Bubble and the Nylon Slim. Cool collection. I'm a huge fan of hi tops - if you've seen me then you know but I don't know if these tickle my fancy. Do you like them?

The Black Widow

Hands up if you saw Avengers this year? How witty is Tony Stark? theblagg likes Scarlett Johansson a lot - blame it on Vicky Cristina Barcelona - so we weren't really bummed when we discovered that she would be playing the Black Widow. However, as many will tell you, it's not really ScarJo but the sheer awesomery of the character on paper that's mesmerising enough to warrant an act of immortalisation to sneaker lovers. The iconic Marvel character is one of many to be interpreted into sneakers by the Reebok team. She gets to live on in the black and red (with gold laces and velcro straps) Reebok Freestyle. The Ordinary Girl doesn't mind the red accents since the character is a redhead and the shiny black makes sense because have you seen her catsuit? But all that gold? It's more pseudo-glam/look-at-me and not enough I-can-put-you-in-a-chokehold-in-a matter-of-seconds sleek (which is more her personality). What do you guys think?

Reebok: Prequel to a Classic with Swizz Beatz

Ya'll already know that we got love for Swizzy. Even after he cheated on Mashonda and upgraded to Alicia we was like "Yo...That's Alicia...We can't front on that move...That's Alicia."
Anyhooo. As you all know by now, Swizzy has been messing with Reebok for quite sometime so they shot a video of the partnerships "Coming Out" party...pause.

Swizzy is back again with another sneaker collaboration, and this time its with Reebok. Hopefully this will be as profitable for Reebok like the S Dots which Dude used to have until his house was ransacked by hooligans!!!...But he's not bitter...I mean...It was three years ago...But...If you're out there...Please...BRING MY S DOTS BACK AND WE CAN FORGET IT EVER HAPPEND!!...ahem.

Now Reebok is not a brand that theblagg talks about. I mean we only own one pair of Reeboks between the two of us (Grey&white on red S dots. FIRE!), which got jacked when some guys decide to loot Dude's place like it was a white owned store during the LA riots.

Reebok launched its Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary collection in the three continents which matter when it comes to fashion ie. North America, Europe and Asia. Instead of releasing the same colorways of the iconic Reebok pump in all three continents, Reebok chose to collaborate with respected retailers of urban lifestyle in the different continents. We could bore you with a list of these lucky retailers but we figured...nah. We would rather show you our favourite two in each continent.
