She's aint a sucker emcee and... if you knew your Jean Grae you'd know the rest of that lyric. It's no secret that The Ordinary Girl used to live for the woman born Tsidi Ibrahim. Yeah, Abdullah's little girl. Ok, that part we all know, but what has she been up to since Jeanius. A bunch of stuff is the answer that youtube offers. One of those stuff - can I say that? I'm sure I can't say that - is a new album.



Apparantly it's called Cookies Or Comas, not Cake Or Death, but who can be sure when it comes to Jean? So my friend Libby sent me the new leak off the new album. The joint is called You Don't Like It (So What) and it's a certified banger. And she's not singing. And I'm glad I don't have to write that essay on what went wrong with her because the woman is back to her sure-fire-spitter ways.



But what I really wanted to tell you about is about this new joint that 9th Wonder released this week. It's Jean Grae and Phonte (yay! We love it when they make music together) on a song by Lil B The Base God. Yeah, that's the kid that released a 676 song mixtape. That number is correct, I didn't mistype it. Now, a lot of "purists" as 9th described rap fans, aren't on the Lil B bandwagon. So for Jeany and Phontigallo to jump on this is suspect, right?



I'll be honest, I don't know Lil B's music so I don't have a preconcieved idea of how wack he is - maybe you guys can help me with that? But I like this song though. It's called Base For Your Face. What do you all think?
